Privacy Policy for Every Timer

Effective date: September 27, 2026

Every Timer is an application developed and published by Ulsh Solutions, LLC (“Ulsh Solutions,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy covers Every Timer for iOS and Android, including its Apple Watch and Wear OS apps.

Every Timer does not collect personal information. It has no account system, no login, and no Ulsh Solutions server. The timers you make, your settings, and the state of a timer in progress are stored on your device and stay there, apart from the copy your phone sends to your own watch.

We do not know who has installed Every Timer, which timers are used, or how often. That information is never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to receive, store, or disclose. The one exception is a message you choose to send us, described under “If You Contact Us.”

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Ulsh Solutions collects no personal information through Every Timer, apart from any feedback email you choose to send us (see “If You Contact Us”).

The application does not ask for or access:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, or postal address
  • Your contacts or camera
  • Your location, except while a timer you have set to track distance is running, as described under “Location and Distance”
  • Your microphone, or speech recognition of any kind
  • Health or fitness data already in Apple Health or Health Connect. Every Timer can save workouts and mindful minutes there when you turn that on, as described below, but it never reads what is already there
  • Advertising identifiers, or any other identifier used to track you

There is no account to create and no credential to supply in order to use the application.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Every Timer stores what it needs in the application’s private storage on your device.

That information consists of:

  • The timers you create, including their names, colors, and settings
  • Your settings, such as countdown sounds, spoken countdowns, vibration, high-visibility mode, and whether distances are shown in miles or kilometers
  • When each timer was last started, so that your list can be sorted by the most recently used
  • The state of a timer that is still in progress when you leave it, such as a stopwatch’s laps
  • How many free runs of each timer type have been used, and which Every Timer Pro purchases your app store last reported, so that Every Timer Pro keeps working without a network connection
  • When the application was first used, how many runs have reached their end and on which days, and when, and in which version, the application asked the app store to show its rating prompt, so that it asks rarely and at a sensible moment
  • Whether the application has already asked for permission to send notifications, to use your location, or to save to Apple Health or Health Connect
  • On Android, workouts your Wear OS watch has handed to the phone, including a run’s distance and route when it tracked distance, until Health Connect accepts them

This information is not sent to Ulsh Solutions, it is not readable by us, and it is not kept in any database we operate. Part of it is sent to your own watch, as described in the next section.

Because this information is stored locally, deleting the application, clearing its data, losing the device, or replacing the device will remove it, subject to any backup or restoration functionality independently provided by your device or operating system.

3. Apple Watch and Wear OS

Every Timer includes an Apple Watch app and a Wear OS app. Once timers have been sent to your watch, the watch app runs them on its own, without the phone.

To make that possible, your phone sends your watch a copy of your timers, already prepared for the watch to run: each timer’s name, color, and sequence of phases, and whether it tracks distance, together with the few settings a run on the watch uses and whether Every Timer Pro is unlocked.

That copy travels from your phone to your own watch using the system each platform provides for the purpose: Apple’s WatchConnectivity framework on iPhone and Apple Watch, and Google’s Wearable Data Layer, part of Google Play services, on Android and Wear OS. Ulsh Solutions never receives it. How Apple and Google carry it is governed by their own privacy terms.

The watch app stores what it receives on the watch, and keeps its own count of free runs, separate from the phone’s.

4. Location and Distance

Every Timer uses your location only for a timer you have set to track distance, and only while one of its runs is going. Interval, run/walk, pyramid, and random timers offer this. It is off for each timer until you turn on Track distance with GPS in that timer’s settings.

Turning it on shows your device’s own permission screen. Every Timer asks only to use your location while you are using the application, never at other times. A run keeps measuring when your phone is locked or your watch screen is off. While it does, iOS shows that your location is in use, and Android shows the running timer’s notification.

During a run, Every Timer uses the location readings on your device to work out the distance you have covered, your pace, and the distance of each repetition, and shows them on the timer. The readings are not sent to Ulsh Solutions or to anyone else. The application does not keep them after the run, except the distance and route it saves to Apple Health or Health Connect when you have turned saving on, as described below.

On Android and Wear OS, the location readings come from Google Play services’ location service, whose handling of location information is governed by Google’s privacy terms. A Wear OS watch may obtain its location from your paired phone this way.

The Apple Watch and Wear OS apps use the watch’s location in the same way, for the same timers, and ask for their own permission. You can turn off Every Timer’s access to your location at any time in your device’s settings; a timer that tracks distance then runs without it.

5. Apple Health and Health Connect

Saving to Apple Health on iOS, or to Health Connect on Android, is off until you turn it on in Every Timer’s Settings. Turning it on shows your device’s own permission screen, where you choose what Every Timer may save. You can change that choice, or delete anything Every Timer has saved, at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect.

When it is on, a run of a workout timer is saved as a workout: its type, when it started and ended, when it was paused, and the timer’s name. For a timer that tracks distance, the workout also includes the distance covered and the route, where you allow Every Timer to save those. A breathwork or meditation run is saved as mindful minutes. Timers that are not exercise, such as kitchen timers, save nothing. A run on your phone saves no heart rate and no calories, because the phone cannot measure them.

On Apple Watch, while a workout that is being saved runs, Every Timer reads the heart rate and active energy the watch measures, shows them on the timer, and saves them with the workout to Apple Health, together with its distance and route for a timer that tracks distance. The watch asks for its own permission to do so.

On Wear OS, while a workout that is being saved runs, Every Timer uses the watch’s sensors, through Google’s Health Services, to measure heart rate and calories and shows them on the timer. Health Connect is only on your phone, so the watch sends the finished workout, with its heart rate and calories, and its distance and route for a timer that tracks distance, to Every Timer on your paired phone using Google’s Wearable Data Layer, and the phone saves it to Health Connect. The phone keeps it in the application’s private storage only until Health Connect accepts it.

Every Timer never reads the health data already in Apple Health or Health Connect. What it saves stays on your devices and in those services, under Apple’s and Google’s own terms, including any syncing you have set up with them. None of it is sent to Ulsh Solutions, and none of it is used for advertising or marketing, sold, or shared with anyone.

6. Notifications

Every Timer uses local notifications only. They are scheduled on your device by the application itself, so that a timer’s cues can reach you on the lock screen.

The application does not use push notifications. Ulsh Solutions operates no notification server and has no way to send a message to your device.

You can allow or decline notifications, and change that choice at any time, in your device’s settings.

7. Spoken Countdowns

Spoken countdowns use your device’s own text-to-speech, which is provided by its operating system and is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

Every Timer speaks but does not listen. It does not use your device’s microphone, and it does not perform speech recognition.

8. No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking

Every Timer contains no analytics, no crash or diagnostic reporting, no advertising, and no tracking or attribution, and it uses no service that provides any of them.

On Android, the library Every Timer uses to schedule its notifications is built with parts of Google’s Firebase Cloud Messaging, and one of its supporting libraries includes Google Play’s Install Referrer client. Other apps use these for push notifications and for attributing installs. Every Timer uses neither: Firebase is never set up in the application, so it cannot register for or receive push messages, and the application never asks for install referrer information.

The application does not request permission to track you, and does not access the advertising identifier on either platform.

Ulsh Solutions does not sell personal information, does not share information for targeted or behavioral advertising, and does not build advertising profiles.

There is nothing here for you to opt out of, because there is nothing running to opt out of.

9. Purchases

Every Timer is free to download, and each timer type can be tried at no cost. Continuing to use a timer type after that requires Every Timer Pro, which is available either as an auto-renewing annual subscription or as a single one-time lifetime purchase that does not renew. Which products are offered, their prices, and the terms of any introductory offer are displayed in the application and in the applicable app store before you buy, and may change over time.

All purchases are processed entirely by the app store you bought from — the Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android.

Your payment card number and other payment credentials are never entered into Every Timer and never pass through it. Ulsh Solutions does not receive, collect, or store them, and we do not receive the identity of the account that made the purchase.

The application checks your purchase on your device, using Apple’s StoreKit on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. There is no Ulsh Solutions server involved in that check. The count of free runs you have used is likewise kept on your device, as is the app store’s most recent answer about which purchases you own, so that Every Timer Pro keeps working without a network connection.

Ulsh Solutions does not use purchase or entitlement information to create advertising profiles or to track users across unrelated applications or services.

Payment processing, billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the applicable app store under that provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

10. App Store and Platform Information

Every Timer is distributed through third-party platforms and runs on devices and operating systems provided by third parties.

These platforms independently collect and process information associated with downloading, purchasing, installing, updating, and using an application, and they may provide Ulsh Solutions with aggregated, platform-generated reports — for example, how many copies were downloaded in a given country, or aggregated crash and performance data collected by the platform itself rather than by us.

Aggregated reporting of this kind does not identify individual users to us.

Every Timer occasionally asks your app store to show its own rating prompt, and the store decides whether to show it. If you rate or review Every Timer, whether from that prompt or from Rate Every Timer in Settings, your rating or review goes to the app store and is handled under its terms. The application never learns whether you rated it, or what you said.

Information independently collected by an app store, operating system provider, or device manufacturer is subject to that provider’s privacy practices, which Ulsh Solutions does not control. Apple’s privacy policy is available at apple.com/legal/privacy, and Google’s at policies.google.com/privacy.

11. Children’s Privacy

Every Timer includes timers made for use with children, such as the visual timer for kids and classrooms.

Because the application collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. It requires no account, no name, and no contact information in order to use it.

The Send feedback option described under “If You Contact Us” is not intended for children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has emailed us may ask us to delete that message, and we will.

Parents, guardians, and teachers should supervise children’s use of devices, applications, and app-store purchasing features as they consider appropriate.

12. Data Security

The most reliable protection for information is not to collect it, and that is the approach Every Timer takes.

Because the information the application stores is kept on your own devices, its security depends on the security of your phone, your watch, and their operating systems. The application writes only to its own private application storage, which other applications cannot read.

Ulsh Solutions maintains no server-side copy of your timers, settings, or purchase status, because no such copy is ever created.

13. If You Contact Us

Settings in Every Timer includes Send feedback, which opens your own email application with a new message addressed to feedback@ulshsolutions.com. The application adds the Every Timer version and build number, your platform, and your operating system version at the bottom of the message, where you can see, change, or delete them before sending. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.

If you send it, or otherwise email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you include. We use it only to read and reply to your message and to improve Every Timer. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

We keep these messages only for as long as we need them for those purposes, and we will delete a message you sent us if you ask.

14. Data Retention and Deletion

Ulsh Solutions retains no personal information from Every Timer, apart from any email you choose to send us, which we delete on request as described under “If You Contact Us.”

Information stored on your phone or watch can be removed by clearing the application’s data or uninstalling the application, subject to the behavior of your operating system and any device-level backup service you use.

App stores and payment providers retain purchase records according to their own legal obligations and privacy practices.

15. Future Features

Ulsh Solutions may introduce additional functionality in the future, which could include optional backup or synchronization between devices, or other online services.

If future functionality changes the information that is collected, processed, transmitted, or stored, we will update this Privacy Policy before or when those changes take effect.

This Privacy Policy is not authorization to begin collecting categories of personal information materially different from the practices described here without first updating these disclosures.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Every Timer, to applicable law, to platform requirements, or to our business practices.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this policy.

Material changes affecting how user information is handled may also be communicated through the application, our website, or other appropriate means.
